Harriet Puts Vine Book Up for Sale on Half.com!

Innocent Blood: The Order of the Sanguines is a book Harriet "reviewed" through Amazon's Vine program on November 30, 2013.

Thanks to an anonymous Vine member (who can identify himself in the comments if he so chooses), here is a screen shot from the November 27th Vine newsletter item detail advertising this book (note the red circle):

See the "review" here (preserved for posterity in the image below).

And here is a screen shot of the half.com listing (link here, but this may not be active for long).

This is a clear violation of Amazon's terms of service for the Vine program.

I hope Amazon revokes her Vine Program membership, and soon.

Yeah. Then it'll be ALL shirtless torsos from Harlequin for the covers.

Sneaky, fantastic work! Kudos to D.Blankenship for catching the miscreants also known as the Harriets, violating Amazon's guidelines. They have a lot of gall to sell a Vine book. Eric didn't waste any time. The very second the book became released to the masses, he put it up for sale. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree when it comes to being grossly ethically-challenged. I hope the UPS man doesn't step inside the Klausner house when he delivers the ARC packages. It seems that immorality is contagious.

Sometimes Eric (or Harriet) puts the books up for sale before the release date...

Why am I not surprised. But compared with her "reviewing" I'd say this is a small infraction. Amazon probably knows about it and doesn't give a shit — although, I'm sure if you "report" here, they'll wave their finger at her.

Nah, if I report her, the customer service people in India will see "Vine" in my e-mail and send me the canned response about the Vine program. They won't even understand I'm talking about Harriet.
