Thank God! Now they'll have something else to talk about. I swear, everything that is said on the blog is completely twisted around to suit their own agendas. I love this one:
"...and sift through enough of the swill, you can find a comment by "misfit" stating the use an another account name that set up for the expressed purpose of spying and stirring up muck."
What? I have had two Amazon accounts for years, one personal and one work. I started using the work one with no reviews as I was getting sick of being negged.
It won't be me. I said it would go to whoever was closest and that is either D.Hern or Antoinette Klein. Unfortunately I hadn't noticed that they both chose June 6th as their guess. My guess was June 17th. I just need to go back through some emails and see which one of them chose the date first. That's how I'm deciding, I think it's fair, don't you?
That is fair. I couldn't remember the title of the book ( now I know it is "The Woods" )that the bets were on and I know some used different comment sections to place their bet.
D.Hern was the first one to guess June 6th which was the closest date to the date Harriet achieved her milestone 14,000 review.
Send me your information and I can deposit twenty-five dollars directly into your Amazon account or I can send it directly to you through Paypal. Congratulations!
Stephanie - Well, I COULD reveal when HK will reach 15K. But that would ruin the next contest! And don't ask how I do it... it's pages and pages of vastly complicated calculus, coupled with wild guessing. It would take a rocket scientist to explain it all.
How odd! I know my husband's family is mostly from Germany. And everyone always tries to spell our name with an "a" which makes sense, but isn't right. I'm sure it's one of those Ellis Island changes!

I've put the dates up on the last review. I'm waiting twenty-four hours just to make sure I didn't overlook anyone.
This time tomorrow a prize will be awarded.
Barbara,
Let me know if it is you who won as I would then award the prize as promised.

Wow. I'm a weener! :)
I'm not sure if I should be happy or horrified with my ability to guess HK's review output. Thanks, Barbara!
Congratulations D. Hern! Can you reveal when she will make it to 15,000?! JK
Congrats!
I can only get 1 review at a time to post - how does Harriet do it?

I knew it! I knew you were a rocket scentist!
I have to mention this. I have a cousin by the name Deborah Hearn. She lives in Germany.
How odd! I know my husband's family is mostly from Germany. And everyone always tries to spell our name with an "a" which makes sense, but isn't right. I'm sure it's one of those Ellis Island changes!
