About this Klausner review that Cathy already posted about: I'm amazed that even after several days of this review's being on display, HK (or whoever does this under her name) hasn't fixed it! I mean, how telling this is. Post and never look back. Soon she'll switch to posting random excerpts from an old phone book with five-star ratings: after all, that could be done even faster than what she does now.
PS. Today is August 14, 2007. In these fourteen days Harriet reviewed ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY-FOUR (154) books. That is exactly eleven (11) books a day on average. (Of course, L.E. Cantrell and other Friends Of Harriet would say something like, so what? Just because you can't do this doesn't mean no one can! :-) Or something like that... )

Of related interest, what is happening to Harp's helpful vote totals? Are some of the rats beginning to leave a sinking ship? Or is that wish just father to the thought? I've seen what were probably mere tactical slowdowns before, but what would explain Harp's current sudden and precipitous movement "south"? Inquiring minds want to know.
Hey, Everybody:
Check out Robert Moore's comment at the foot of Harp's review of "Flippin Out." Moore asserts that forum discussions claim "Harp's being investigated by Amazon for rampant self-voting." Fancy that!
I can see a slowdown, but nothing more. That is, it now takes longer: say, a week, rather than two days. But he still accumulates miraculously high totals way too quick.
He's being investigated? Gee, I see, Amazon's raising their skirts in shock horror of someone's abusing their Wonderful System(TM). Oh my, how touching. My ass.
Amazon's idea of an investigation:
Amazon: "Grady, you're not abusing the voting system, are you?"
Grady: "Heavens no! All of my votes are random and legitimate."
Amazon: "Good. Carry on."
End of "deep" investigation.
:-) That's gotta be about right.
On Grady Harp's review of Mach II or III, and something about your hair being on fire, (God, he watches that crap?), C.MCCALLISTER has now weighed in. He says he finds it amusing that we are still commenting on loyalty voters when Amazon already takes care of that problem.
Do you hear that everyone? GO AWAY! There is nothing to be seen here. Amazon has it all under control. No need to concern yourselves. The system is addressing this issue and the system is infallible. Move along, people.
Heard this before too...
