the only joke here is you M.D., you ranting about a woman who is ranked number one on a website on the internet? Truly where did you go to Med School,Franklin Pierce? Go away

Joseph J. Neuschatz M.D.,
I have read the reviews of you book "terrO.R." I can't wait to read it.

Our good friend Mark-O has another new review! (And an item to sell, of course).

He changed his seller nickname -- it's '123marko' now (the old was 'shipbooksnow' or something like that).

Also notice that he has deleted three reviews -- the ones with the comments, of course. The comments, as you remember, were pointing to his copy/pasting his 'Excellent! Excellent! Excellent!' spam-piece thirty-three times, and that he's been selling all the books he's reviewed. Would someone please report [this gentleman's activities] to Amazon so we can be done with this particular phenom. I mean, so that we can see what Amazon will do in such a case.
More neuroscience news from our friend Top Reviewer W. Boudville! His valuable thoughts on the book Consciousness and Cognition: Fragments of Mind and Brain can be found here. Also of interest is his older review of Sextus Empiricus: Against the Physicists. Against the Ethicists. (Loeb Classical Library No. 311) by Sextus Empiricus. He did not quite like this particular book: three stars. A rarity! Not to be missed.

The doctor does have a hell of a nerve bitching about Harriet Klausner. He's shilled that damn "novella" of his around amazon leaving no stone unturned, including writing his own review of his book and attributing it to someone else.

I think he must have sent an email to HK asking for a review and she ignored it as she seems to ignore all emails. All of the other shills he contacted, (Grady, Lonnie, etc.), hopped to and gave him a glowing review. That must be the genesis of his dislike for Hurriet, he loves all the other shills.

Where was that?

Malleus,

3 of 5 people found the following review helpful:
A PERFECT GIFT FOR SOMEONE YOU LOVE., July 25, 2007
By Joseph J. Neuschatz M.D. (Long Island, NY USA) - See all my reviews

This review was sent to me by:

Narayan, lawyer from Trivandrum India.

And the review follows, this is still in violation of Amazon's stated policies. Hell, any author could post dozens of reviews, "this one's from my dear friend Bob in Outer Mongolia", and crap like that.

Oh yeah, I see. Thanks. I see Lonnie chipped in as well! Long time no see... now, why am I suddenly thinking of Nehi Soda?

Well, the NGHVM is cranking into full gear today and rallying his troops for support.

I haven't seen much of LH lately on the review discussions. He seems to have fallen off the planet about the same time he was discovered having reviewed that book about how to get Amazon's top to look at one's book. Or is it just coincidence?

Malleus said...

Coincidence. I think he musta been reminded by his friends Top Reviewers where his true loyalties must lie...

Barbara Delaney said...

He was never in any doubt about where his loyalties were, he just thought everyone else was deaf, dumb, blind and stupid. That's why he thought he could join in the Harriet Klausner bashing then rush to the discussion boards for some trash talking about the rest of HK's detractors. One of my pet peeves has always been people who play both ends.

How about Mark-O's advice that we ignore the other reviewers of the baby monitor? We should take the advice of Mr. Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! who has written the exact same review more than thirty times? Yeah, like he has credibility....

Malleus said...

Yup! It is funny. 'specially if you consider that he's been selling it.

Barbara Delaney said...

Ah, Boudville! The Master of the sentence fragment!

So, now he's reviewing a 2,000 year old book that was reprinted in 1936. How topical is this? And just think, Sextus Empiricus was an early proponent of Skepticism. I know just how he felt, I'm skeptical about Boudville's claim of having read this 560 page book.

Malleus said...

Let's be fair to our friend W.Boudville: he's limited his review to the title of this book. He's not saying he got any further than the front cover...

Barbara Delaney said...

Malleus, It looks as if from your lips to Amazon's ears, Mark-O's excellent! excellent! excellent! reviews are gone! gone! gone!

Malleus said...

Good riddance. 'course we'll miss them -- nothing to link to anymore. Well, we'll see if there's perhaps someone else like that. There's gotta be many such "contributors" on them amazon reviewing grounds...

Take a look at Mark-O's triumphant return to "reviewing". You can't keep a good man down, especially one who writes such "excellent!" reviews as these.
