Here,
This is the second time I've seen one of her reviews with the ISBN # and other book detail at the top of the review. Is she pulling that along with the editorial reviews off of the book page? It's not on her review of the book on B&N. Just wondering.

Where is it? A wrong link? Btw, what was there about dog-fighting? Is that true there are magazines like that and that they're sold on Amazon? I thought cock-fighting is illegal.
I thought that comment about dog fighting was very weird on a book page, especially a book that has nothing to do with that topic.
That's what I thought too... I doubt Amz sells cock-fighting magazines (those, if they exist, would have to be illegal, no?) Amz is ethically challenged, yes, but I'm sure they have a legal department.
As far as the ISBN, sure, she could have 'borrowed' it from an editorial review page, a slightly rephrased version of which has probably become her 'review'. But it's nothing evil though; in fact, sometimes it's helpful (not in this case, though, since the book is available).
I myself once did it, 'cause when a book goes unavailable, if you have a review of it, the link to the book becomes defective and points to a 404 page. But! If you search on ISBN you'll find it and could buy a used copy (provided there are any on offer).
I'm sure it's not the reason Klausner did it, but hell, I'm willing to forgive anything that has at least some potential explanation. But how can you explain her reading a pile of books every day? :-)
Amazon does sell those magazines. They sell Gamecock for $28.00 for 11 issues. Peta and other organizations have been trying to put a stop to this. Read some of the 93 customer reviews for that magazine.
Please read this article.

Below is a short excerpt:
"The battle between The HSUS and Amazon.com over Amazon.com's sales of animal fighting materials has been brewing for some time.
It began in July 2005, when The HSUS delivered a letter to Amazon.com CEO Jeffrey Bezos informing him of the magazines on his company's website. After alerting Amazon.com to the violations of federal law that the magazines' sales represent, The HSUS requested their removal. The request was met with stony silence."
That's the Humane Society of the United States. Malleus, how could you ever doubt the depths of how ethically challenged Amazon can be? Does their "stony silence" surprise you?
I would also like to ask all of you to sign the petition concerning Amazon on the Humane Society's article. This type of cruelty to animals is unconscionable. This is one more reason to shop at Powell's books.
Jeez... well, I haven't seen this magazine, but from the massive revulsion it seems to inspire in the public, it's gotta be what people say it is. I have no words. I kind of figured recently that Amazon are fucks but this goes beyond anything that has ever occurred to me. I'll put this thing up in a post on the first page. Wish I could drop them again (and again). This Bezos guy has lost his marbles...
