Laugh out loud funny

This has nothing to do with Hurriet or Grady, etc. I just wanted to point you to someone named person's reviews. They can be quite entertaining. Reminds me a bit of KrossD's reviews. It was nice to laugh.

I have gotten farther along reading some of the comments. Most of his "reviews" are pretty funny, but then a few of them are a bit overboard.

Is he just trying to be funny or is he a nut?

He likes his dog a little too much.
And what was thay review about a chainsaw???? They sell that on amazon?

He's joking of course. The comments there are the best -- talk about humour-challenged people -- "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!? Why are you putting them headphones on your dog?!" Really, man. :-)

Here's one:
"R. Alaine Sutton
This guy is an IDIOT!!! It is a children's FICTIONAL movie. Any parent showing this movie knows it is FICTICIOUS. To blast a movie for being fictional is just down right DUMB!!!!"

R. Alaine Sutton is a repressed humourless turd.

Priceless:

"Laura:
You are a fruitcake. Based on your review, it doesn't surprise me that the people you hang out with would view this movie as real. It is a children's movie for crying out loud. By the way, Bambi didn't really talk, neither did Dumbo, and Pinnochio's nose really didn't grow when he lied. It's pretend, get an imagination!"

PS. That's about Finding Nemo, btw. The guy's good. If I knew his email, I'd send him an invite.

Off topic: Barbara, how do you search for DVDs on Powell's? I click on the 'DVD' label at the top, but the search on the page this gets me to goes to books, not DVDs.

Damn it! Why am I always the last person to attempt to look at these things?! All I get is a message telling me "Sorry, these reviews are not available to be seen at this time."

I know how Charlie Brown feels when he keeps getting a rock on Halloween.

I got a couple of those. They're intermittent and tend to go away, so keep trying. Try another review.

Malleus,

Hmm, I'm not sure but when I search for DVD's after I go to the main page I click on to one of the categories on the left hand side, like "under seven dollars" or "new releases" or "foreign". Then I search and so far I've not had any difficulty or been re-directed to books.

Does this answer your question?

Those are some seriously satire-deficient readers. It seems that even though they realize it's a joke they're still angry.

Funny stuff, but not in KrossD's category I'm afraid. But of course I would say that, the trolls claimed that we were married. Some marriage, he lives in California, I live in Ohio, and we've never met. Other than those minor drawbacks I can report I'm very happy.

Malleus said...

Yes, it does, thanks. I tried, and there's an improvement, though still it gives me both movies and books. All right, I'll peruse help there...

Malleus,

If you are serious about the invite his email is:
administrator@alexanderha berbush.com

On second thought, he probably won't understand why we're inviting him. I mean I like the guy's sense of humour, but does he know of Harriet Klausner and Our other Friends Top Reviewers?

Could someone post a comment there telling him to visit here and see if he'd be interested? Otherwise he'll get this invite out of the blue and think that it's regular spam.

Thoughts?

Bad link. Probably too long, so cut it up in pieces that fit and we'll reassemble it in the browser. That's the problem with comments here: in a post you can use HTML, but in comments it just lops the end off. What was it? (Btw, I did send an invite.)
